FarmVille is one hugely popular title, boasting over 75 million users worldwide. Well, the game is already one year old, but that doesn’t mean it is not about to lose its popularity anytime soon. To heat things even more, FarmVille will be released for the iPhone as well as iPod touch, virtually opening up new avenues for this title to reach millions of mobile users with the ability to play, engage and connect with their friends and family via social games. Looks like there is yet one more reason for you to purchase either device from Apple if mobile gaming is your cup of tea.

Wipeout: The Game arrives on Nintendo platforms

wipeoutDon’t pooh pooh Nintendo’s Wii and DSi platforms as consoles that are way past their sell-by date, since neither one is able to hold up against its more illustrious rivals who feature superior hardware, although sales figures have shown otherwise with the DSi and Wii outselling them by miles. Activision knows a good thing when they see one, and has recently announced the arrival of Wipeout: The Game for the Nintendo DSi and Wii. Based upon the Endemol USA produced hit ABC TV show, Wipeout, Wipeout: The Game will see friends and family go up against each other in the world’s largest, messiest, and one of the most hilarious obstacle course out there to date.

Transformers: War for Cybertron is now here

It is a pity that Megan Fox won’t be around for the third instalment of Transformers, but we’re sure that a game based on the third movie is already in the works even as we speak, regardless of whether it is playable or not, that is another can of worms. As for today, we will just have to concentrate on news that Transformers: War for Cybertron has arrived at store shelves nationwide, bringing the legendary conflict between the noble Autobots and the evil Decepticons to a head. All the metal crunching action will happen on their home planet, Cybertron, so you won’t really need to worry about stepping on innocent humans in the process of duking it out with one another.
