Activision knows a good thing when they see one, and has recently announced the arrival of Wipeout: The Game for the Nintendo DSi and Wii. Based upon the Endemol USA produced hit ABC TV show, Wipeout, Wipeout: The Game will see friends and family go up against each other in the world’s largest, messiest, and one of the most hilarious obstacle course out there to date.

The Apple iPad is one tablet device that really captured the imagination of the masses, not to mention swallowing up dough from millions of proud new iPad owners in the process. This tablet is not just a larger iPhone, but also an ebook reader (although not too suitable) as well as a portable games machine. This will be the sequel to Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, an Interactive Achievement Award winner for “Best Downloadable Game of the Year,” making sure that those who are fans of the ultimate puzzle-RPG experience will be able to enjoy it in an all-new fantasy universe. For Nintendo DS owners, Puzzle Quest 2 will retail for $29.95 which is a fair price considering the endless hours of gaming and brain-wrecking moments you will have with it.

It is a pity that Megan Fox won’t be around for the third instalment of Transformers, but we’re sure that a game based on the third movie is already in the works even as we speak, regardless of whether it is playable or not, that is another can of worms. As for today, we will just have to concentrate on news that Transformers: War for Cybertron has arrived at store shelves nationwide, bringing the legendary conflict between the noble Autobots and the evil Decepticons to a head. All the metal crunching action will happen on their home planet, Cybertron, so you won’t really need to worry about stepping on innocent humans in the process of duking it out with one another.
