Many countries around the world have already injected their local economy with what is known as a stimulus package, so it is pretty surprising to see a new add-on for an existing popular game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with one of their own. What are we talking about? Well, folks who are rocking to Xbox LIVE will be able to pick up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package this coming March 30, so make sure you mark your calendars with that date if you’re a hard core Call of Duty fan and want to be the first to experience the franchise’s various titles, sequels as well as add-ons.

Crafting Mama from Majesco

Well, Majesco has further expanded on Mama’s talents by introducing a new title for the Nintendo DS – we’re talking about Crafting Mama here. Heck, this multi talented lady might just be a parody of someone whose mind is in the gutter, coming up with a title like “Hot Mama” or something of the equivalent. Ah well, I difress- Crafting Mama is an exclusive title for the Nintendo DS. Developed by Cooking Mama Limited, this all-new crafting game lets players create their own unique crafts across a wide range of different projects.

DeathSpank coming later this year

EA Partners, a division of Electronic Arts Inc. has teamed up with leading independent developer Hothead Games to arrive at an exclusive publishing agreement that will bring DeathSpank to both the Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network sometime later this year. DeathSpank was developed under the vision of The Secret of Monkey Island creator and industry icon Ron Gilbert, where gamers will experience a story filled with Gilbert’s unique humor and wit with classic and addictive action RPG gameplay. It is meant to be engrossingly fun as well as hysterically side splitting, and hopefully this will introduce some laughs into an otherwise mundane world.

Atari announces Test Drive Unlimited 2

2K Games announces downloadable content plan for BioShock 2

2K Games recently announced the availability of downloadable content plan for BioShock 2, helping bring new life to an already solid game. With new downloadable content being made available to the masses, this will help extend and enhance the single and multiplayer experiences simple by adding more glimpses into the award-winning world of Rapture. Said downloadable content will be made available in the near future, starting with the Sinclair Solutions Test Pack that will arrive on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace this March onwards, where it will cost you 400 Microsoft Points while PS3 owners can get their fix from the PlayStation Network for $4.99. As for future expansions into the world of BioShock 2, those are in the pipeline are and slated to arrive over the coming months in order to further expand on the stories of the denizens of Rapture.

This title was specially designed to allow families and friends compete in activities by land or sea in a lush vacation paradise, without having to put on a layer of suntan lotion or even fork out expensive airfares for a holiday on the Carribean. Square Enix announces NIER for PS3

nierWhen it comes to RPGs, you know that you can’t go wrong if Square Enix is the name behind a particular product. Well, RPG nuts who have gone through the latest Square Enix adventures and are itching for the next release will be pleased to know that the company has just announced that their latest Action-RPG known as NIER will be making its way to the PS3 platform as well as the Xbox 360 console, where it will hit the North American market this coming April 27, 2010. Being an Action RPG, it will see the amalgamation of RPG gameplay mechanics alongside intense and bloody combat. Of course, what is an RPG without magic? NIER has plenty of that as well, so fret not.

February will see a strong lineup of weekly downloadable songs that ought to make fans’ musical appetites satiated, where it also marks the first time where master tracks from popular heavy metal band Black Sabbath will be used in a music video game.

Halo: Reach will not see Natal action

When the Nintendo Wii was first launched, many people laughed at it because of its kiddy-like controls, where you will need to wave this thing called the Wiimote while using it in tandem with the Nunchuk peripheral in certain games, but the craze has certainly caught on with it being the best selling home console of this generation by far, also partly due to its much lower entry price point compared to its rivals. Well, both Sony and Microsoft has certainly realized the error of their ways, and have already worked on a motion controlling system which have yet to be revealed on either platform just yet. Microsoft hopes to beat Sony to the punch with their Project Natal, but the latest news is Halo: Reach won’t utilize Natal motion controls, which would certainly go a long way in deflating the hopes of many fanboys who won’t mind blazing their way through levels while swinging their arms away wildly.
