The Call of Duty franchise has been a phenomenal success to say the least, and it is no surprise that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack will do its bit to further increase the longevity and playability of the franchise. This time round, folks who are rocking to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 can pick up the Resurgence Pack on Xbox LIVE, which is the second map pack from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 after following the record-breaking release of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package, that managed to establish a new beach head in terms of Xbox LIVE launch records, reaching in to the living rooms of millions of gamers around the world during its initial opening days.

Developed by Infinity Ward, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Resurgence Pack adds five additional multiplayer levels, including three all-new locations along with two updated classic locations from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The new map pack is published by Activision Publishing, Inc., and available for download on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, for 1,200 Microsoft Points. To celebrate its release, Infinity Ward will host a Double XP weekend for Xbox LIVE gamers beginning June 4.

For those who are interested, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is not meant for everyone as it still carries the rated “M” (Mature) by the ESRB for Blood, Drug Reference, Intense Violence and Language rating, which is no surprise. Well, kids of today who grow up in the future can always check it out and play this classic (by then it will be one, of course) to know what we’re talking about 10 years from now.
