Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City coming this March
January 29th, 2010 by Edwin in Game Previews
Grand Theft Auto (GTA) is one game that has surely surpassed the expectations of many people when it was first released. Who would have thought that our society would be that bloodthirsty for a game that rewards the players when one walks on the other side of the law? Well, the GTA bandwagon doesn’t show any signs of slowing down or stopping, which is why there is room for yet another instalment – Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City that will hit the Sony P3 console later this March. Created by RockStar Games, Episodes from Liberty City will provide fans with the opportunity to experience the last two exciting chapters of the Grand Theft Auto IV saga on a sole Blu-ray disc, but if you prefer to take the disc-less route, you can download individual episodes on the PlayStationNetwork.
In the first episode, The Lost and Damned, players will become immersed in the dark underworld of Liberty City and its motorcycle gangs led by Johnny Klebitz and The Lost motorcycle club. Players will follow the shady exploits of Luis Lopez in the second episode, The Ballad of Gay Tony, as he becomes involved in Liberty City’s fast-paced, corrupt nightclub scene. Both episodes feature new vehicles, weapons, and music.
At long last, the closing chapters of the GTA IV story will finally arrive on the PS3 this March 30th, where it will retail for a surprisingly affordable $39.99. But wait – there’s more, as The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony can also be purchased separately on the PlayStationStore through the PlayStation Network for $19.99 apiece, adding up to the same amount, give or take a cent.
