Call of Duty: World at War: ZOMBIES
November 17th, 2009 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
Zombies seem to hold a strange fascination over us humans, even though it is fiction (apart from a handful of voodoo cases where ‘zombies’ still have yet to be quantified as one). Well, with many post-apocalyptic zombie films and video games been released already, what is another one to hit the market? Enter Call of Duty: World at War: ZOMBIES, where you get to slay Zombies right on the palm of your hand thanks to Activision Publishing, Inc. and developer Treyarch. Available on both the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch, Call of Duty: World at War: ZOMBIES offers a mobile version of the hit gameplay mode from Treyarch’s blockbuster title Call of Duty: World at War, although you get to blast zombies into oblivion instead with the same end result – you save mankind in the process.
Call of Duty: World at War: ZOMBIES offers both single player and the game’s highly-addictive co-op gameplay experience in full 3-D, allowing up to four players to join a game via Wi-Fi, locally or across the Internet, and up to two players via Bluetooth, all on the go! According to Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch, “This is a great opportunity for fans of Call of Duty: World at War to take the fight against the Zombie masses wherever they are. Zombies is a single player and co-op gameplay mode that people from all over the world have enjoyed playing and have spent countless hours conquering limitless waves of Zombies.”
Interested in some violent title where your parents cannot catch you playing? Call of Duty: World at War: ZOMBIES App can now be purchased for $9.99 from the App Store.
