Pizza Delivery Boy hits the Wii
November 12th, 2009 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
Can you still remember what a hit Paperboy for the PC was when it was first unveiled all those decades ago? Not only did you have to pit your paper delivery skills against uneven terrain as well as nasty dogs while dodging traffic, here’s a more updated version that thrives on the same basic elements courtesy of Majesco. Known as Pizza Delivery Boy, this special Wii action title will allow players to use the Wiimote as a multi-purpose, all-in-one kitchen utensil and driving wheel in order to whip up and deliver pizzas to hungry customers spread across a trio of bustling towns. Playersdo need to take note of the obstacles present which could prevent them from picking up the coveted title of Pizza Boy of the Year!
When three brothers mismanage their successful pizza restaurants and the businesses start to falter, the bank manager threatens to shut them down if they don’t return to profitability. It’s up to you, the new hire, to restore the ailing pizza parlors to their past magnificence. But the task won’t be easy. Players earn money by making and delivering pizzas throughout three busy towns crawling with scoundrels and hazards like hungry dogs and oil slicks. Players can also unlock faster vehicles and earn extra cash on their days off by taking on various side missions, including street racing and cooking competitions. New hires who rake in the dough will rescue the family business and become a local hero!
No idea on pricing, but Pizza Delivery Boy is tipped to be out sometime this winter, having been slapped with an E for Everyone rating. Image courtesy of Destructoid.com.
