November 9th, 2009 by Edwin in Game Previews
DICE, a studio with Electronic Arts, has recently announced the upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer beta that will be made available to the PS3 platform on an exclusive basis from November 19th onwards. This will allow PS3 gamers to experience the unprecedented action, destruction, vehicular warfare, squad play and open sandbox environments which can only be found in the Battlefield universe and no where else. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 touts to offer a true all-out war experience like no other modern warfare game, and you can pick up beta key distribution details from their website.
The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer beta will feature the Arica Harbor map, where up to 24 players can compete in one of the game’s four intense multiplayer modes called Rush. This new map displays a superb balance of vehicle and infantry combat, as the American assault unit attacks the Russian army base with full force, advancing further through a beautiful desert town and towards the industrial area in a desperate attempt to overtake the Arica Harbor. Heavy vehicle warfare on the first bases gradually turns into an intense infantry fight as the level progresses, showcasing this best-in-class online war experience.
December 2009 will see DICE invite players to participate in a PC open beta, while from early next year onwards, players worldwide can experience this premier shooter when DICE releases a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer DEMO on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC as well. Expect Battlefield: Bad Company 2 to hit stores this March 2nd in North America, while folks in Europe will have to wait for another three days after that.
