Line Rider Beta 3 now out
October 27th, 2009 by Edwin in Uncategorized
Have you ever played Line Rider? It is one of the more interesting Flash-based games that will require a fair bit of imagination, and best of all is you won’t need the latest and most souped up computer in order to get it up and running. The Line Rider title has even been ported over to the Nintendo DS in the past for obvious reasons, to take advantage of the touchscreen capability. Well, this time round Line Rider Beta 3 is available without having you to fork out a single penny for it, where you can get it for free at www.linerider.com. The third beta will contain the first of many future upgrades, and Sparkworkz aims to kick off the upgrades with a new feature called Dual Riders alongside other requested improvements.
According to Brian Fargo, founder and CEO of inXile entertainment, “We felt it was time to give the game some needed attention and add features commonly discussed by the community. Sparkworkz will continue to inquire further into Line Rider’s loyal community for future updates. What is most important is that we give the community what they want in order to make the game fun and enjoyable for everyone who plays it.”
This simple yet overwhelmingly addictive title has seen it pick up the Most Innovative Game of 2007 at The Game Developers Conference, where more than 100,000 people visit the Line Rider site each day as a testament to its popularity. Have you given Line Rider a go before? If the answer is in the negative, it is about time you start as you won’t know what you’ve been missing out on.
