Want to stay fit while getting your video game fix at the same time? You can do so without having to purchase a Nintendo Wii, as Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2010 is now making its way to Nintendo’s handheld device, the DS. This title from Majesco was specially designed to offer on-the-go fitness, where it will offer exercises and routines custom designed by Jillian that players can follow regardless of where they are, moving from somewhere serious like the office all the way to the beach.

In Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2010 for Nintendo DS, players follow a 3D avatar of Michaels as she leads them through rigorous exercises and routines, just like a real personal training session. With expert advice and motivational feedback from Jillian, users can maximize their work out to achieve the best results. In addition, players can choose their preferred fitness regimen through two different program-setting modes: “Jillian’s Training” and “My Training.” “Jillian’s Training” immerses “trainees” into a set workout schedule and plan designed by Jillian, whereas “My Training” allows them to create their own programs including workout days, times and activities. No matter what regimen they choose, players can track their progress with the “My Diary” feature and view diet and wellness tips from Jillian – all designed to help them to stay focused and inspired to attain their fitness goals.

Is it me, or does this game seem to target males more who are naturally attracted to a fit form of a female? How about the girls who want a hot trainer to help them in the battle of the bulge – where’s the equality then? Expect the DS version to retail for $29.99 per copy, which is $10 less compared to the Wii version.
