Sony has recently announced that they will be unveiling the latest installment in the SingStar franchise, with SingStar Queen as the title of choice that will make its way to both Sony console platforms, that is the PS2 and PS3. The SingStar Queen aims to set the stage for the ultimate rock star experience, helping players surpass their previous best efforts by performing popular tracks from global rock legend Queen. Developed by Sony in conjunction with the band itself and Hollywood Records, SingStar Queen for PS3 will boast more than 20 of the most memorable Queen songs and music videos including ‘We Are The Champions,’ ‘Another One Bites The Dust,’ ‘We Will Rock You,’ ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,”Under Pressure’ and many more.
In addition to SingStar Queen, this September, community and customization once again take center stage with two new features coming to SingStar titles for PS3. First, players will be able to express their creative talents by using the new video editing feature. Players can take their performances to the next level by turning their best 30 second clips into their own mini music videos using a selection of special editing effects. These music videos can then be posted on My SingStar Online for the entire SingStar community to enjoy.
Furthermore, the SingStar community features will see an upgrade since it will enable players across the country to hook up in an unprecedented manner via the franchise’s latest social element known as SingStar Clubs. Unique new clubs started by fellow SingStar fans can be launched, and you can choose who you want to rub shoulders with by checking out online charts from respective clubs as well as relive their favorite SingStar experiences.
