Roogoo series of games unveiled
July 5th, 2009 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
SouthPeak Interactive Corporation has recently unveiled two more additions to their fast growing family of games, and these consist of the Roogoo Twisted Towers for Wii and Roogoo Attack! for the Nintendo DS. Both titles are touted to offer fun for the whole family, so everyone will not be left out regardless of how old (or young) they are, although grandpa might prefer the Wii version since he doesn’t need to squint to view the tiny screen on the DS, instead enjoying the fruits of his retirement fund with the latest HDTV in the market. It will require not only quick reflexes but quick thinking as well to save the fictional Planet Roo from the vicious Prince Moo and his wicked Meemoo followers.
Roogoo Twisted Towers and Roogoo Attack! follow the delightfully endearing Roogoos through colorful (and Meemoo infested) worlds as they fight to save Planet Roo. Using the world-saving power of meteor shapes, players must rotate platforms in myriads of different formations all the while strategizing on the fly and collecting quick-falling shapes. Players will get hooked on the invigorating gameplay that requires fast thinking, determination and grit; leaving players craving more action and adventure after each level. As an added bonus, the Wii and Nintendo DS versions can wirelessly connect and unlock 20 bonus levels within each title!
Both Roogoo Twisted Towers and Roogoo Attack! are rated E for everyone and are available everywhere, and needless to say, the DS version will definitely be more affordable compared to the Wii’s.
