Majesco ships Wonder World Amusement Park

Mention Majesco and what is the first thing that comes to your mind? I don’t know about you, but as for me, I’m always stuck with the image of Cooking Mama and her fiery eyes whenever I screw up one of her dishes. Majesco has the DS and Wii from Nintendo to thank for getting out of the doldrums, especially with the Cooking Mama series literally saving their bacon by being hits on their respective platforms. This has spurred Majesco to stick to the same tried and true formula of casual games that have a mass appeal across all strata of society, but purists might term those as shovelware. This time round, Majesco announced that they have started to ship Wonder World Amusement Park for the Nintendo DS. This is a portable version of the Wii title which was released just last year.
Wonder World Amusement Park for DS lets players experience a complete day at the park in the palm of their hands. Using the Touch Screen, players can toss, drive, shoot, whack, fish and spin in more than 30 rides and games throughout five themed zones. By successfully completing mini-games, players will open new zones and win tickets they can redeem for prizes and accessories for their characters. In addition, gamers can unlock new play modes, games and even a secret Park Zone! Players can also challenge a friend via local wireless connection so they can enjoy a competitive carnival experience anytime, anywhere.
As with the majority of other titles from Majesco, Wonder World Amusement Park for DS is rated E for Everyone and will retail for $19.99 a pop.
