PlayFirst releases Fitness Dash

Those who have played DinerTown and enjoyed the game will definitely find PlayFirst’s Fitness Dash to be equally entertaining. This is the latest spin-off from the DinerTown storyline and will offer a whole new match game challenge in the context of classic DASH time-management gameplay. More details on Fitness Dash right after the jump.

According to Kenny Shea Dinkin, vice president and creative director, PlayFirst, “It was only a matter of time before the citizens of DinerTown made their way from the diner to the gym/ In Fitness Dash, Flo and the gang are embroiled in a neighborhood Olympiad that takes them from the brick gyms of DinerTown to the sports fields of neighboring Donutville, Muffinberg, and the dreaded Meatropolis.”

Taking PlayFirst’s beloved DinerTown characters from the diner to the gym proves to be a comedic goldmine. Told through the eyes of Jo — best known to the fans of the breakthrough bestselling Diner Dash series as “the jogger” customer at Flo’s Diner — Fitness Dash follows the hysterical struggle to get the local team back into shape for a regional tug-of-war competition. Encouraged by Diner Dash fan-favorite Flo, Jo opens a series of gyms. Players assist Jo in the gyms, helping to guide customers through beneficial workouts, taking care of the equipment, and providing motivating pick-ups ranging from orange juice to pep talks.

Folks who are interested will be able to pick up Fitness Dash for both the Mac and PC platforms. You can remain fixated with the free 60-minute trial version (which will pass all too quickly, mind you, when you’re having a whale of a time) or pick up the full version for $19.95.
