Verizon Wireless offer Adobe Flash Lite games
September 12th, 2008 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
Verizon Wireless will be making available a quartet of new Adobe Flash Lite games to all its subscribers, and the titles in question are Boomerang Stan, Custom Shop, Shooting Starfish and Poker Solitaire. The introduction of these four titles would mean that the entire range of Smashing Games available to Verizon Wireless customers currently number at 28, which ought to be more than sufficient for most folks who love killing time with such entertainment titles on their handsets.
Players must get rid of some very nasty mutant bunnies in the outback in “Boomerang Stan;” players can make their custom shops the place to be by putting together crazy auto orders without making mistakes in “Custom Shop;” and players must help the starfish to the surface by getting a boost from its jellyfish friends in “Shooting Starfish.” All three games are from BlueskyNorth. “Poker Solitaire,” from Ludicrous Software, challenges players to make the best possible poker hands from randomly dealt cards.
These titles can be purchased and downloaded from the Verizon Exclusives and Puzzle Games categories in the Games shopping aisle in the Get It Now or Media Center virtual store for $3.49 a pop (one-time use), while you will need to fork out another $4.50 for three uses and a whopping $9.99 for five uses. I personally don’t think that is such a good idea – it is practically daylight robbery! Might as well invest in a DS or PSP and purchase games in physical media that I can play over and over again…
