Square Enix is at it again, rolling out yet another confirmed classic - Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, for the DS platform this time round. This is the latest instalment of the Ivalice Alliance series which so far consists of Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions and Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. FFTA2 has already begun to ship to retailers across North America already, so if you’re quick enough you ought to be able to find a copy and invest the whole of next week finishing up the title, with or without a walkthrough.
A sequel to the 2003 Game Boy Advance release, this grid-based tactical RPG contains everything that fans have continued to enjoy in the series, plus more. With over 50 jobs, more than 300 available quests and a stellar dual- screen presentation, FINAL FANTASY TACTICS A2: Grimoire of the Rift arrives exclusively to Nintendo DS just in time for summer. A delightful mix of strategy and accessibility, this new entry in the Ivalice Alliance invites fans to dive into a light-hearted adventure in the colorful world of Ivalice. Players will travel and explore alongside a lively crew of characters as they fend off enemies in true tactical RPG style. With refreshing new upgrades, both visually and in gameplay mechanics, FINAL FANTASY TACTICS A2: Grimoire of the Rift is sure to impress fans of the original, as well as introduce newcomers to the tactical RPG genre.
It will retail for $39.99 a pop, and with more than 300 available quests, you won’t find the length of the game questionable unlike other simpler titles that we are bombarded with these days.
