Sea Life Safari hits Xbox LIVE Arcade
June 19th, 2008 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
Sierra Online has just launched Sea Life Safari for the Xbox LIVE Arcade for the Xbox 360 console, where players are thrown into the role of a deep sea photographer who is challenged to snap the most vivid wild sea creatures possible. I guess a game of such exploratory nature will appeal to folks who love all things underwater, while others who prefer nothing than to zap aliens will find this title to be rather boring. More on the game description right after the jump.
Photographers hone their camera skills to bring out the bubbly personalities of more than 60 exotic, animated creatures, from the silly clownfish to the legendary kraken sea monster. Players must entice their subjects into playful poses, provoke photo-worthy reactions and reel in picture-perfect scores while being judged on photojournalistic criteria by the well-respected Ol’ Professor Wills.
With an easy-to-use tutorial that teaches players how to take the best pictures and become an expert deep-sea photographer, Sea Life Safari takes players through five jaw-dropping settings, from the tropical coral reef to the bottomless abyss. Sea Life Safari also offers endless hours of adventure as players can unlock hidden alternative routes, collect items and photos for their scrapbooks and witness appearances by rare aquatic life that only come out at certain times of the day or night.
It will cost you 800 Microsoft points to download Sea Life Safari from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. That’s translated to $10 in real world clams.
