LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures
May 18th, 2008 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
I think the LEGO has certainly stumbled upon a goldmine by releasing LEGO Star Wars many years back. The game itelf was extremely fun, and the graphics were just cute as buttons. It makes perfect sense to bring the LEGO brand to Harrison Ford’s latest upcoming action flick by reprising his role as Indiana Jones. Microsoft and LucasArts will be releasing an exclusive playable demo of the upcoming Games for Windows-branded LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures sometime in the near future here and here. This game will be available before the new Indiana Jones movie is released.
For those who love them some trivia, LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures will be the latest addition to the best selling LEGO gaming franchise. In the final release, the title will feature over 60 playable characters, plenty of memorable Indiana Jones scenes, and all the charm that LEGO brings to gaming. Since the title sport the Games for Windows brand, gamers won’t have to worry about sub-par gaming standards as they will be given an assurance of a high-quality experience, something like Nintendo’s Seal of Quality many years ago. Games for Windows titles also boast easier installation, widescreen compatibility, and support for Windows Vista Parental Controls and the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows.
Rated E-10+ for gamers who are 10 years old and above, LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures will be released at a local gaming store near you this June 3, 2008, for an estimated retail price of $29.99.
