Garfield: Lasagna World Tour to launch in Q2
May 1st, 2008 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
Conspiracy Entertainment and Blast! Entertainment Ltd. have entered a development agreement to launch a 3D adventure game based on the much-loved cartoon cat, Garfield. This title will be released sometime in Q2 2008 and will be known as “Garfield: Lasagna World Tour”. The popularity of Garfield cannot be denied, although his cartoons of old weren’t exactly a runaway success of any sort, the recent movies concerning Jim Davis’ creation definitely breathed new life into the syndicated comic. This nutty feline has been brought to life in Garfield: Lasagna World Tour, and judging by its name (as well as Garfield’s favorite hobby), there will be plenty of eating involved.
Here’s a little game background. The PAWS TV channel has just organized a treasure hunt known as “The Lasagna World Tour”, and no doubt Garfield is not going to let this opportunity to achieve something in his life go by just like that. After all, the main prize is winning one’s weight in lasagna for life, so how could he say no to his favorite food? Some of the key features in the game include :-
- Accompany Garfield through 10 vast levels of Lasagna munching action!
- Explore Mexico, Italy and Egypt to find those elusive clues
- Play, ride and give orders to Odie with hilarious results!
- Dress Garfield up as a soccer player, cowboy, a fakir or a chef and obtain hilarious super powers
- Switch to multiplayer mode to make the mini games into games for the family to play together
No idea how much this title will cost though when it is available.
