Dairy Dash to follow after Diner Dash
April 23rd, 2008 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
PlayFirst has announced a brand new game launch today - Dairy Dash. This challenging time management game will draw plenty of experience from PlayFirst’s enormously popular Diner Dash series, changing the environment into a different setting this time round - you have been placed as a worker on an organic farm. Players are supposed to test their time management skills to the limit by putting themselves into the shoes of a hard-working, energetic dairy farmer. Developed by Merscom, Dairy Dash can now be downloaded from http://www.PlayFirst.com (both Mac and PC versions).
The story goes like this - it “focuses on a typical suburban family, the Smiths, and the transformative experience they share when they leave their tech-dominated life behind to take over an uncle’s dairy farm. The family grows closer as they learn to care for everything from cows and goats to pumpkins and corn. They are encouraged along the way by Diner Dash heroine and PlayFirst mascot Flo, who helps keep the Smith farm in business by ordering fresh produce for her restaurants back in Dinertown.”
According to Kenny Shea Dinkin, vice president and creative director of PlayFirst, Inc., “Dairy Dash is a fantastically fun, fast-paced, food-filled frolic through four fabulous farms. And wait until you meet the Smiths! One of the game’s best features is that you get to play more than one character at a time. Dairy Dash moves at such a feverish pace, it takes the whole family just to keep up with the action!” The full version will retail for $19.95 a pop.
