Air Traffic Chaos for Nintendo DS
April 17th, 2008 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
Majesco Entertainment has released yet another title for the Nintendo DS platform - a console where it has seen considerable success thanks in part to the Cooking Mama franchise which garnered a whole new bunch of fans. This time round, we have Air Traffic Chaos to keep you occupied during those boring train rides to work. Developed by Sonic Powered Co., Air Traffic Chaos places the player into the hotseat of an air traffic controller, and you are supposed to safely manage a myriad of takeoffs and landings at busy airports around the world. Sounds easy, eh? I suppose not, since there are hundreds of flights each day, and the touch screen will go a long way in helping you play the game as realistically as possible.
According to Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations, Majesco, “Air Traffic Chaos means fun is taking off from Terminal A. The game’s frantic pace set against the backdrop of an already high-stress job will challenge fast-fingered Touch Screen gamers in an entirely new way.”
Just like Trauma Center and Cooking Mama, the touch screen will play a pivotal role in ensuring everything moves according to plan. You will have to get busy with the stylus in Air Traffic Chaos if you plan to safely manage takeoffs, gate assignments and landings for all incoming and outgoing airport traffic for 14 different airlines in a degree of varying weather conditions. There is a grand total of 16 different merit badges to be earned for outstanding performance, including “Veteran ATC” and “ATC Legend.” It will be available this summer for a yet undisclosed price.
