Gameloft releasing Brain Challenge on Nokia N-Gage platform

brain-challenge.jpgGameloft will be rolling out Brain Challenge for the Nokia N-Gage platform, allowing players to work their cerebrums by indulging in mini-games in order to kill boredom, stress, or just for the sake of challenging their high score across various Nokia N-Series devices such as the N95 8GB and N81. There will be a dozen types of activities which cover four categories, including Memory, Visual, Logic and Math which supposedly go some way to help train certain areas of brain activity. Brain Challenge features two different modes of play, where the Daily Test mode allows players can play a randomly chosen exercise from each of the four categories. The game will automatically adjust the level of difficulty depending on your brain’s performance, while in Training mode, players will select their own difficulty and start working from there.

According to Michel Guillemot, president, Gameloft, “With Nokia’s breakthroughs in ergonomics, ease of use and technical support, a new generation of games is coming into play. The user-friendly interface and simple rules of Brain Challenge in the N-Gage platform allows both novice and experienced players of all ages the ability to grasp the game quickly and easily.”

Hopefully this won’t result in many Nokia handsets being thrown across the room out of frustration. Brain Challenge has already been released on the 7th (yesterday), so if you’re sick of Brain Age on your DS Lite, why not settle for Brain Challenge on your cell phone? There won’t be any annoying professor’s head talking to you, and neither do you have to grapple with speaking out words like “blue” and “yellow”.
