Majesco announces Babysitting Mania
March 11th, 2008 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
So we have had Cake Mania DS in the past, and that was but a simple flash game ported over to Nintendo’s uber popular handheld console. Majesco is now taking yet another stab at the casual gaming market with Babysitting Mania for the DS. As with Cake Mania, it is based on the PC simulation, challenging players to learn how to manage unruly kids while juggling a long list of chores and managing out of control houses without actually crossing the anger treshold. For those who think that Babysitting Mania’s gameplay sounds familiar, well that’s because it is the sequel to the hugely successful Nanny Mania that has already seen more than 7 million downloads.
According to Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations, Majesco, “Babysitting Mania brings the fun and excitement of this universal teen occupation to the DS. This dynamic task management game will keep even the oldest babysitter on his or her toes.”
There are over a hundred levels of challenges for you to meet, where all of them are fast-paced in order to keep you on your toes at all times. Some of these challenges ever overlap one another, as you learn how to juggle various tasks such as feeding a crying kid, entertaining them while cleaning up the huge mess that they left after dinner time. There are 20 houses to choose from, and this title relies on the touch screen most of the time in order to progress, so make sure that your DS already has a screen protector of sorts before you head out and pick this title. Babysitting Mania for the DS is tipped to be released sometime this Fall, and you can expect to pay a relatively low price for this.
