New tracks and features confirmed for GT5 Prologue

GT5 Prologue for the PS3 is one title that PS3 owners are waiting with bated breath - and Sony has helped ease them in by announcing new tracks and features for GT5 Prologue that will be released on April 17th later this year. There are over 60 vehicles to choose from, in addition to 14 tuned cars such as the Ferrari 599, the Nissan GT-R and the Audi R8 4.2 FSI R Tronic. Guess it is time to pick out a brand new gaming steering wheel for your living room in order to make the most of this game! You will be able to choose from half a dozen rendered tracks, ranging from Daytona International Speedway, London City track and a series favorite, High Speed Ring.

Some of the features for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue include :-
- Drift Mode - The player’s drifting technique is measured based on drift angles, racing lines, and speeds within evaluation zones located at various turns on the course.
- In Depth Car Tuning - Players have the ability to adjust the vehicle’s performance, including power, weight, tires and suspension.
- Two-player Split Screen Racing - Allows players to race head-to-head against friends and foes offline.
- New Race Events - New racing events and time trials are available for players to race both offline and online. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue supports up to 16 players racing online simultaneously.
