Edge of Twilight coming next year
March 7th, 2008 by Edwin in General Gaming News
SouthPeak Games have just announced that “Edge of Twilight” from FUZZYEYES will be made available to the masses next year, with the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC being the platforms of choice. Currently, the title is still under development at FUZZYEYES, relying on Unreal Engine 3’s license to bring this surreal world to gamers all over the world. What does this game have to offer to ordinary folk like you and I? Will it revolutionize any genre that are already available in the market? Well, it actually transports the player into a “lavishly envisioned steampunk world to play as Lex, an outcast bounty hunter who finds himself caught between clashes of two polar opposite civilizations. Delivering a unique brand of fast-paced cinematic action, the game will be a truly immersive experience.”
Melanie Mroz, CEO of SouthPeak, mentioned, “We are very excited to help bring FUZZYEYES’ creative vision to life. The team spent a lot of time developing a comprehensive story to give the universe a history and purpose, which can change based on the players’ interaction within the world.”
Wei-Yao Lu, CEO of FUZZYEYES adds, “It is energizing to see our unique vision take shape. We are bringing some unusual ideas to the table and so far we couldn’t be happier with the results. Gamers should look forward to 2009!” I know gamers should look forward to 2009 as the MGS4 fever would have died down by then, and we will get a better picture of which console is going to remain as top dog, and will the PS3 finally overtake the Xbox 360 and Wii in terms of hardware sales?
