Mega Brain Boost to hit Nintendo DS
January 24th, 2008 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
It makes me wonder with all the brain boosting games available for the Nintendo DS platform, does this mean that the folks who get their regular gaming fix are not smart enough in general, or they’re smart in the first place to pick up the little handheld console that could? Whatever the answer is, one thing cannot be denied - the Nintendo DS is a favorite platform for game developers to come up with brain games, thanks to the phenomenal success of Brain Age a couple of years back. The Brain Boost franchise has yet another addition for DS owners to train their grey matter thanks to Majesco, with the latest title being called Mega Brain Boost. What next - Super Duper Brain Boost?
Developed by Interchannel-Holon, Mega Brain Boost might come in a single game cartridge, but it actually packs in three full games to keep your brain going strong even though you have left it to rot in front of the TV and other mindless video games over the years. Each game was specially tailored by renowned researcher Makota Shichida to promote cerebral development. According to Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations, Majesco, “Having grown geometrically smarter after playing the first two Brain Boost games, I expect that the additional training hours I’ve logged with Mega Brain Boost will expedite my Mensa invitation.” One thing’s for sure - Majesco executives are certainly smart enough to ride on the brain wave that is currently overwhelming the DS.
This family friendly title is rated E for Everyone, and retails at an affordable $19.99.
