Majesco Entertainment Company rolls out Wild Earth: African Safari
December 14th, 2007 by Edwin in Game PreviewsMajesco Entertainment Company has just announced that it will be releasing Wild Earth: African Safari for the Nintendo Wii console. Developed by Super X Studios, Wild Earth: African Safari will place the player in a spectacular safari adventure set in Africa’s Serengeti National Park, enabling them to snap award-winning photos of the continent’s exotic wild life. According to Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations, Majesco, “Wild Earth: African Safari encompasses several great passions – photography, travel and the outdoors – and combines them into a fun and informative interactive experience. With exclusive new features found only in the Wii version, Wild Earth: African Safari lets people experience one of nature’s most complex and diverse habitats, without needing their passport or inoculations.”
Hmm, experiencing the life on another exotic continent without even having to pack your bags? Sounds pretty dreamy, but don’t expect too much in terms of graphics as the Wii can only go so far where graphical firepower is concerned. Instead, you will have to rely on your imagination as you play the role of a photo-journalist on a journey to visually chronicle 30 different wild animals inhabiting the Serengeti National Park. Some of these creatures include aggressive packs of hyenas and massive rhinos, roaming the beautifully re-created panorama of the African veldt. Do take extra caution as getting too close to the animals or disrupting the natural landscape will make it all the more harder to capture a steady picture (what, no image stabilization?)
Wild Earth: African Safari will be launched next spring.
