Wrestling is big business after the slump in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and we have seen many a wrestling personality make it big along the way. Of course, let us have a moment’s silence for those brave men who have fallen (with Chris Benoit being the latest in a long line of deaths) before we go on. Wrestling fans will be pleased as punch to see officially licensed WWE video game accessories being made available on Game On’s website, but unfortunately for most people, the entire inventory of its online launch was sold out due to overwhelming demand, all the way from Alaska to Australia. According to the company, it will be flying in new products directly to its fulfillment facility in order to meet the holiday season demand and beyond.

Some of the officially licensed WWE video game accessories include the PS2 Wireless Controller and PS2 Slim Skin in addition to the Xbox 360 Faceplate and Skin Bundle, and Wii Skins and Wii Remote Gel Skins. According to John Ma, CEO of Game On, “Given the popularity of the WWE, we thought there was a significant opportunity for officially licensed video game accessories, and so we are extremely pleased with our initial online launch. Looking ahead, we’ll continue doing everything possible to meet the online demand, as well as seek ways to increase our distribution to encompass national and local retail outlets.”

You no longer have to bust out a huge sum for an artist to draw your favorite WWE superstar on your console any more. With this new line of officially licensed WWE products, you can have WWE Champion John Cena, Triple H, “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels, or sultry WWE Divas like Ashley, Maria and Candice Michelle adorning your consoles at minimal cost.
