Capcom to bring Apollo Justice to America
November 12th, 2007 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
Thank the heavens, those who are still hankering after more courtroom action despite finishing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Justice for All and Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations many times over will still be able to do so with news that Capcom will be bringing Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney to the US sometime early next year. This will make it the fourth game in the series, although players won’t be able to take control of their favorite blue-suit, spiky haired lawyer and a medium sidekick any more. Apollo Justice is a new defense attorney, but rest assured that he will be accompanied by a varied and zany host of other characters as well.
This T for Teen rated game will run in pretty much the same way as previous games. An excerpt from the PR is as follows:
Players star as rookie defense attorney Apollo Justice as he visits crime scenes, questions key witnesses and collects vital evidence before stepping into the courtroom to prove his clients’ innocence. Facing Apollo across the courtroom is the highly talented and flamboyant prosecutor Klavier Gavin who, in addition to being a legal genius, is also lead singer with Gavinners, a highly successful rock band with a string of hits to their name.
You might not have Maya’s mayagatama to help you catch lying witnesses, but Apollo Justice does have a unique ability to uncover witnesses’ lies by studying their body language. He is not alone in his fight though, as Trucy, a mysterious female magician is here to help him out. No idea on how much this title will cost, but hopefully there is a bargain edition from Japan that features both Japanese and English languages.
