Want to ace that interview? Pick up Mensetsu no Tatsujin

mensetsu.jpgEveryone knows just how versatile the diminutive Nintendo DS Lite is – after all, it is because of the large library of casual games that offer an easy and laidback gaming experience that made it sell millions after all these months. From titles such as Nintendogs to Brain Age, Cooking Mama, Face Training, and even Yoga Training, you get zany game concepts that were never seen anywhere else before, hence cementing their reputation even further. Mensetsu no Tatsujin: Tenshoku-Hen is a Japanese title that will be available when October 25 rolls around, and it actually aims to help users improve their interviewing skills.

Interviewing skills, you say? Yes, interviewing skills. The game starts off by having you choose your desired occupation, where you will then be presented with practice questions – virtually anything and everything that will be thrown at you when you step into that interview room. Going through the vast practice questions will no doubt increase your level of confidence, and in order to remind you of just when your interview actually is, there is a built-in calendar that does that job.

Guess graphics won’t really matter in a game such as this. I suspect this would work well for first timers, and for those living in cultures where who you know is way more important than what you know when it comes to landing a job, I must say this title won’t come in too handy after all. If only a module concerning office politics was inserted into the final copy of the game as well, that’d go a long way in increasing the replayability of such a title.
