SEGA Rally races onto PSP this September
June 14th, 2007 by Edwin in Games – New Releases
There is just something about racing games that make the adrenalin rush, and SEGA Rally is one of them. SEGA Europe has already confirmed that SEGA Rally will be making its way onto Sony’s PSP, with a September 2007 release date looming on the horizon. Racing game specialists Bugbear Entertainment Limited will take up this task of coming up with an engaging title for the PSP, with versions for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC already confirmed. While those three platforms come with enough horsepower to look and play realistically, it remains to be seen whether the PSP has the intestinal fortitude to deliver an exciting gaming experience.
SEGA Rally on the PSP is said to embrace all the finer qualities of its predecessors, including amazing visuals, superb handling, and closely fought competitive racing. Graphically, it is said that this title will feature jaw dropping environments that work in tandem with extremely competitive AI for that challenging factor, while controls will be tight and require a high level of skill to master. Guess newbies could potentially end up frustrated if they keep getting beat by the AI – perhaps this is why casual gaming has taken off in a big way thus far.
In case you’re tired of owning the computer AI (or the other way round), there is always multiplayer WiFi to keep the replayability of this title going. Should you be unable to find a friend within the vicinity, head online to check out other players who are waiting to press the pedal to the metal. If this title is all that its cracked up to be, then September cannot come any sooner.
