We all know just how much money Blizzard and its employees are swimming in at the moment as virtually every game that the company has released so far has been selling like hot cakes, and this trend culminated in the life sapping World of Warcraft MMORPG. Do you think there will be some other game that will top WoW? Obviously punters and gamers alike are excited at the prospect of the next big thing, with word on the street pointing towards Blizzard unveiling a new MMORPG in Korea next month. When you put Korea and Blizzard together, the only thing that comes to your mind would be StarCraft. Apparently the new MMORPG will be known as World of StarCraft.

While this breaking news might disappoint the many StarCraft fans all over the world who have long been expecting a sequel to one of the best RTS games ever produced, others will definitely clamor for a new direction in an old franchise. After all, playing an MMORPG in a StarCraft setting isn’t such a terrible idea to begin with, and there are bound to be plenty of other MMORPGs that fare worse. This is Blizzard that we’re talking about after all, are we not?

More evidence that points toward the validity of a StarCraft themed MMORPG would be Blizzard listing open positions for a next-gen MMO. The exact announcement will be dropped a couple of weeks from today, so just hold on to your seats and let the flow of time do its trick. What would really take the cake would be the announcement of having both a StarCraft MMORPG and RTS title simultaneously, but that will clearly be a one-in-a-million chance.
