The upcoming Transformers Movie is guaranteed to draw top numbers during its opening weekend, but will it ultimately be a flop or a moderate success, riding on the hype? Most people (Transformers purists) claim that the movie is blasphemy for the butchering of characters, but these days it is the general public who has the final say since their dollars are what makes a movie move, and not that of fanboys. Should the movie head down in flames spectacularly, here we are crossing our fingers that the game tie-in would fare better. A whole lot better.

This game will be available across most console platforms and the computer, so make sure the graphics card is up to par if you haven’t yet done so. You will be able to play as the Autobots, protecting the world from the evil Decepticons, or wreak havoc and destruction as part of the Decepticon faction. It is imperative that the developers recreate the very feel of a giant robot in the game, as missing that element would be a definite death-knell to the game itself.

Gamers will also be able to change from a robot to a vehicle instantly, bringing a new dimension to the combat strategy. No wonder Megatron cannot transform into a gun, as it would be pretty hard moving around as a pistol when you go up against a trailer truck. The entire world is also said to be interactive as the gamer will be able to crush and wreck everything they see, from buildings to vehicles. I can forsee anger management classes include a round of Transformers game in the future as they let patients vent their anger in a virtual environment. Do you think the game will be a runaway success or a dud?
