Halo world gets Corgi treatment
March 5th, 2007 by Edwin in General Gaming News
Microsoft has entered into a partnership with Corgi International with the aim of bringing the virtual world of Microsoft’s most successful gaming franchise to date with true-to-life 3D merchandise that is guaranteed to blow your mind away. This line will include an exhaustive list of replica collectibles and gifts and will be scheduled for a release later this year. Corgi’s Master Replicas brand is extremely famous for their eye for detail when it comes to sculptures and figurines, so the treatment that Master Chief and gang receive will be nothing short of eye-popping.
I predict that this will definitely be a great seller when the holiday season rolls around this year, as it would be pretty difficult to turn down the highly detailed figures from Microsoft’s #1 title even if you’re not a Halo fan. Currently, details are still being worked out on the range of gifts and collectibles but we do know that the releases will comprise of various characters, items, and vehicles from Halo, Halo 2, and yes, even the hugely anticipated megahit Halo 3. Further product announcements and releases will be issued throughout the year, so fans of the Halo franchise and collectibles will just have to be patient and sit tight for the moment.
Are you an avid fan of collectibles? Do you have shelves at home lined up with figurines of your favorite super heroes, comic book icons, and characters from a computer game? These are exciting times indeed for such a group, so better start saving up from today onwards if you haven’t already.
