PS3 owners desperate to sell off items
December 17th, 2006 by Edwin in Gaming Hardware
I suppose eBay is the place where you can snag yourself some really good deals as well as getting some really funny pictures of people who are hawking their wares to the bargain hunting public. The PlayStation 3 might be sold out across 6 continents, but you will be able to find that the majority of them are congregating on auction sites such as eBay and craigslist. In an effort to ensure their PS3 advertisement stands out head and shoulders above the crowd, some owners have even taken all sorts of unmentionable shots of their PS3 in addition to having scantily clad ladies strutting their more desirable assets (which coincidentally start with the letter ‘b’ but is definitely not the brain) in an effort to move their PS3 for a profit.
In addition to the long arm of the law, you also get pictures of gothic chicks, those who are all dressed up in a bikini, and even side shots of their assets! Somebody should just compile the list of photos and make them into a calendar which they can sell off - it would definitely net them more profit than just a single piece of gaming hardware. After all, 2006 is coming to a close and it would be great for geeks to start planning for 2007 and its healthy list of game releases.
Do you think that this kind of underhanded tactic would work? I personally think not, as genuine PS3 buyers will only look at one thing - the price. They don’t care if it is featured with some lady dressed up in a policewoman’s garb while handcuffed to the console, do they? Perhaps I could be wrong, judging by the amount of games that are released these days, using nothing but sex to sell.
