We Live Katamari
June 20th, 2006 by Sean in General Gaming News
Some fans of the Katamari Damacy games took lunacy to a new level by making the game come to life whilst running the recent San Francisco “Bay To Breakers” 5 mile run event.
A team of runners made a giant Katamari out of cardboard, and then proceeded to push it around the sporting event, collecting more cardboard items as they went. To add to the spectacle they also dressed up as various characters from the games, including the King of All Cosmos and Prince.
We’d like to congratulate all who took place on such a brilliant effort. Check out the blog that shows construction of the Katamari right through to the big event itself. There’s also a great “Royal Rainbow” list of statistics that you should find amusing if you’ve ever played the games.
