Halo Branching Out Further
March 21st, 2006 by Sean in General Gaming News
You’re sure to have heard about the forthcoming Peter Jackson produced movie of the Halo games, but it seems that even that isn’t enough for the brand with the news that you’ll soon be able to read Halo: The Graphic Novel!
The book is to be published by Marvel Comics, and as well as featuring artwork from the artists at Bungie who developed the game, it will also have contributions from several popular comic book artists, including Jean “Moebius” Giraud, Ed Lee, Andrew Robinson and Jay Faerber. (Knowing nothing about comic books, I assume this is an impressive list!
)
It’s currently slated for release in July as a hardback and will boast 128 full colour pages, comprising four stories and several gallery pieces of artwork. As well as this graphic novel and the aforementioned movie, Halo has also spawned a series of novels, a soundtrack CD and a range of action figures.
