Siemens “Kick Real” Mobile Footie
February 6th, 2006 by Sean in Game Previews
Most of us have probably seen the EyeToy “Keepie Uppie” game where you try to keep a football in the air for as long as possible. You may even have seen those soccer arcade games where you actually kick a real football in an attempt to score a goal. Well, thanks to Siemens you can now enjoy this kind of game on the move with their version for mobile phones entitled “Kick Real”.
The rather odd control system involves pointing your camera phone at your foot. A football appears in the middle of the phone screen which you can then “kick” by waving your foot around. You must try and get the ball into the goal whilst avoiding the goalkeeper.
Sounds a bit tricky to play, and I don’t suppose many people would want to play whilst waiting for the bus for example, as it would rather spook passers by somewhat, seeing some idiot trying to take a picture of himself kicking the air in front of him…
