Killer Gaming PC

If you’re in the market for a new gaming PC it would seem you can’t go far wrong with Dell’s monster, the Renegade XPS 600, announced at the CES show today. Dell have pulled out all the stops to bring you one of the most crazily specified PC’s money can buy. Not only that, but as you can’t fail to have noticed, it’s a piece of art as well as even the case has something to shout about!
Starting with the outside then, the machine has a beautiful painting of flames all over it, and is signed by both Michael Dell and Mike Lavallee of Killer Paint, better known for producing such paint jobs for cars and motorbikes.
The flames are certainly apt, as the innards of this baby must surely be generating a fair bit of heat! Inside you’ll find an Intel Pentium Extreme Edition Dual-Core 955 CPU that’s been overclocked to 4.26GHz! It’s unheard of for Dell to sell an overclocked PC, so there must be some pretty serious cooling system going on inside for them to offer such a feature. It also has 2GB DDR2 RAM (clocked at 667MHz) and two 1GB nVidia GeForce 7800 SLI cards, giving the PC a total of 4 GPUs!
A price is yet to be set, but you can probably expect it to be over $5,000 on release in the Spring. Dell also have an amazing looking 30″ widescreen monitor lined up for release as well, which would surely be the perfect display device to go with the Renegade, assuming of course you can afford it in the first place!
