This is a great puzzle and gem matching game that you can find online or download to your computer. The free version does not have as many options but is still fun to play if you just need a break from your daily grind. If you are a real puzzle enthusiast and wish to experience more action then you should purchase the premium game.

In this game, you are an adventurer that faces the Mayan ruins and must rearrange the jewels and other artifacts to turn the sand into gold. As you rearrange the objects, into threes, they will vanish and the puzzle will move down. The object is to turn on the sand into gold on the puzzle in the shortest time possible to achieve a high score. As you complete, the puzzle you will advance to the next level with will be harder than the first to complete. It takes real brainpower to advance in the allotted time. If you do not complete the level the game is over and you must start from the beginning again.

Features of Jewel Quest include 180 puzzles; find buried relics, cursed items, awesome graphics, unique music and wild jungle sounds.

Understanding how to play the game is very easy. There are six items on the puzzle; they must be lined up either horizontally or vertically in groups of three or more. If you are lucky, you can cause a chain reaction as the items fall when the ones you matched vanish. Any time that three or more items are matched together, they vanish from the board. Watch closely and go for as many chain reactions as possible to achieve a high score. As the items vanish, the sand behind them will turn into gold. This is what you must achieve. Each square where an item is must turn into gold before you can advance to the next level.

Your game will end if the timer runs out or you turn all sand places into gold.

Good luck on your adventure into the ancient ruins.
