Around the World in 80 Days for GameBoy Advance is an electrifying action game that is based on the movie starring Jackie Chan.
If you remember from the movie, Jackie Chan is Passepartout who is the French Valet to the inventor Philieas Fogg. Mr. Fogg being such a proud inventor takes a bet against Lord Kelvin his livelong enemy that he will travel around the entire world in 80 days, Passepartout decides to help him with his venture and tag along. When they arrive in Paris, they meet Monique and the three join together on the quest of traveling around the world in only 80 days. Many adventures await the three.
You are Passepartout and you begin your quest in London. You will continue on your journey through Paris, Turkey, India, China, San Francisco, the western deserts of the United States, and through the streets of New York City before making it back to the beginning in London. It is not as easy as you might believe. Many perilous obstructions and treacherous enemies are in their way to complete the journey. Some of these are indented to stop Philieas Fogg from winning the bet.
As you are Passepartout, you will use all kinds of moves to defeat your enemies and obstacles that stand in your way including kicks and punches. You will also enjoy the acrobatic moves and the hand-to-hand combat that Jackie Chan is known for. The obstacles will not stand in your way for long, as you will climb buildings, crossing small thin wires, jump off walls, bounce off canopies and spring from the ledge of one building to another. Interesting ways to travel will also keep you interested in your quest like elephants, ships, planes, trains and of course hot air balloon.
