If you liked Diablo then you are going to love Diablo II. Everyone raves over the improvements that have been made. There is more customization of the characters and improvement in the spells, gameplay, and graphics to mention just a few of the main reasons everyone enjoys this new Diablo.

In Diablo II, you once again return to the dark fantasy world. You can choose from five characters and explore the world around you. You will journey across distant lands, fight villains that were not in the previous Diablo, find new treasures and discover ancient mysteries while you endeavor to stop the Lord of Terror.

Among the new characters, you will find Amazon. Amazon is a great woman warrior that belongs to nomadic bands, which roam the plains close to the South Sea. She is use to fighting to defend her band as they wander and fall into conflicts. This type of lifestyle has made her very independent with the ability to take hardships. She is quite proficient with bows, spears, throwing weapons and hand-to-hand combat.

The Sorceress is one of the defiant women that fought the male dominated Mage Clans of the East to learn the secrets of magic. He is an expert in mystical creation ex nihilo. Not very good at hand to hand combat but her magic skills make up for her loss in this type of battle. She prefers to work alone and her motives are quite spiteful at times.

The Barbarian is from any of the several tribes. He believes all others are soft and weak. He has a sturdy and powerful frame brought on by clan warfare and the struggle to survive. He has a strong belief in the animal powers with whom he identifies.

Necromancer is a mysterious sorcerer whose spells deal with raising the dead from their grave, summoning, and even controlling various types of creatures for his own purposes. He does resemble a corpse because of the many hours of study in dank mausoleum.

Paladin is a knight of Westmarch. These knights destroyed the armies of Leoric and follow the teachings of Zakarum. This is the Religion of the Light. He is a mighty warrior that fights for what he believes in.

Rumors surrounded the last Diablo about a certain Secret Cow Level, which was never found because there was never a secret area. However, in Diablo II there is a Secret Cow Level. You must experiment the Cube combinations until you discover the secret. Good luck on your quest!
