PSP Hard Drive Released
November 9th, 2005 by Sean in Console News, Gaming Hardware
If you’re finding that 1GB Memory Stick just too small for storing all your PSP game saves, MP3’s, movies and the like then fret no longer, as Datel have just released their 4GB PSP Hard Drive.
The package consists of a micro hard drive (similar technology to that used in the iPod) which has a Memory Stick adapter attached. You place the adapter in the Memory Stick slot, clip the hard drive to the back of the PC and voila!. You now have 4GB of space to store pretty much anything you need!

If you’re having concerns about battery life then worry not, as the package also includes Datel’s X-2 replacement battery, which is claimed to have double the capacity of the standard PSP battery.
Also included in the deal is a software package to allow you to manage the contents of the hard drive and convert movies into a format the can be played back by the PSP, and a USB cable for connecting the PSP to your PC.
All in all, the whole caboodle will set you back around 150 GBP, or around $200 US. For more information, check out Datel’s website at www.codejunkies.com.
