The Simsâ„¢ 2 on a Console Near You
October 29th, 2005 by Al in Console News, Games – New Releases
EA Games have just announced they will be releasing the popular SIMS 2 on to the console market. SIMS2 was the best-selling PC game of 2004 and moving into the console arena can only be a good thing for EA and gamers alike.
The software has been rewritten rather than a straight forward port, and should utilise the full power of all supported consoles (XBox, PlayStation2 and Nintendo GameCube). I’d also hope they at least have versions in development for the upcoming release of the 360 and PS 3.
They are also boosting handheld versions for GA Advance, Nintendo DS and PSP. It probably won’t be long before you can play the SIMS on your fun, so then you’ll have no excuse not to keep your virtual community happy all the time.
You can find more information about the SIMS 2 on their official site.
